Scallywags is a family-owned food truck that has been serving our delicious fish and chips in Long Beach since 2022.
All About Us
Welcome to Scallywags, a family-owned business that has been serving delicious fish n chips since 2016. Our journey started with a food stall at the Peninsula R&B Festival, where we quickly gained a reputation for our mouth-watering dishes. We are passionate about supporting local businesses and families, so we buy all our fish local straight from the fishermen. This allows us to give them more than a cannery would for their hard-earned product.

This means we only have halibut when we can get it fresh off the boats in the summer. The rest of the time we have local-caught pacific cod. While this was a curve ball at first, we are committed to supporting our local fishermen. All our oysters are harvested and shucked fresh every Thursday morning and are hand-delivered to us.

Our passion for food and commitment to quality has helped us grow. In 2022 we got an opportunity to have a "permanent" location by launching food truck. This allowed us to maintain regular hours year-round, but we keep to our humble beginnings by continuing to do festivals and catering.
